To arrive in Sinaia, from anywhere in the country, there are several opportunities for access:

By Plane:

The closest airport is Bucharest "Henri Coanda" International Airport . Most flights, both international and domestic, land at the Henri Coanda International Airport, located in Otopeni, 18 km north of the city downtown.

By Train:

Getting to Sinaia is made easy by train, since it is on the main line between Bucharest and Brasov. A few trains serve the Bucharest-Brasov line. Trains usually depart Bucharest's Gara de Nord every 2-3 hours at best. Remember always to buy a ticket for either Rapid, IC or Accelerat trains as they meet better standars and are fast and accurate.

All trains that go to Hungary pass Sinaia, as to those that service Cluj-Napoca, Oradea and Brasov. There are also many trains to and from Timisoara, Arad and Iasi.

By Car:

With the car, it takes no more than 2 hours from Bucharest, driving North on national road DN1, or less than 1 hour from Brasov, driving South on the same DN1.

Romanian and English will be used as the working languages for the symposium.
